Make sure you get latching. Why is yours a 3 button? What BV is it? 150? Crate is actually fairly well priced. I have ordered parts from them multiple times. Just find the cheapest latching switch. Pull it apart and make sure they are SPST. All of mine have been DPDT as they all had LED's....

BVH120. Mine does have leds actually. When I opened up the pedal there are only two leads that are soldered to the board... so I was just assuming SPST were what are in it. But I didn't think about the LEDs... And my presence is almost all the way down. Idk what it is about that knob... but turn it up any higher than 8:30 and its unbearable to me.

Mine look exactly like some of the fewer SPST switches Ive seen. I googled both DPDT and SPST and mine are spot on the latter. They only have two leads... and they are vertical, meaning they point in the opposite direction as the button itself. =[||||]---D, for instance hahaha. the two leads are to the left of the make-shift diagram. Those LEDs though...

I'll open mine up and see if they are DPDT or single.
On another note I have most of my parts to start building the VH4 ch3 in my BV It won't even resemble stock on the board afterwards.... ![]()

Yeah they are SPST. Make sure you get them latching and not momentary. Avoid that noob mistake.
If your switches cost over $20 bucks just get a used 2 switch TRS style footswitch. I am sure you can find a used one for around $20.

Haha.. thanks for that. Ive seen both and I dont know what the difference between latching and momentary is yet.. so thats good to know man. A lil research ahead and Ill have it straight. Ive seen em on the internet, ebay more so, for maybe $13... I don't remember exactly but I remember they werent priced too badly. I wanna swap all three out.

Post a pic of your footswitch?
I still don't see why it has three.... the amp can only use 2 switches. All of mine have had 2 switches. If your SPST switches are $13 then you are better off buying a new footswitch. It will be cheaper.

Its got 3 switches. switch 3(S3) swaps from channel one and two. S1 and S2 has to with the effects loop I think (which Ive NEVER used I mind you). I know these two are for the loop, and I know they work together cuz there connected on the board... a send switch and return switch?.... Idk man. I know what an effects loop does, but Idk how the switches would function.
I know its the stock footswitch too since Im only the 2nd owner of the amp, and it has the identical CRATE font style on the front right (dunno if you can make it out). The first guy played it new for a few years and had it in his basement for another 3-4 before I took it off his hands.

Hmmm after doing a little reading the other two switches control the reverb and chorus, and perhaps channel gain as well. I don't have chorus on the bv120h... nor do I have a gain control besides the atypical analog knob.
And for $35 anywhere I look.. I may as well buy a brand new one. After editing*** Apparently the pedal sucks and the two left switches break very easily hahahaha. So idk..

That's the footswitch for the DSP, GFX and Flexwave, not the BV...

So after listening to you bitch about pots for your timmy and matt talking about 16mm alpha pots.... looks like they are the correct pots for these. Less than 2 bucks at mojo tone. Just ordered a shit ton for my new project. I don't know why I couldn't find them before...

That's the footswitch the guy gave me when I bought it. And from what I understand that was original equipment when he bought it. Im only using the right switch for channel swapping. The other two wont do a damn thing for the 120H?

It's wrong switch... You need one with 2 switches. One for channel and one for FX loop.

I gotcha, thanks man. Ive seen both of em for sale and theyre fairly cheap. Think I may have to invest in the 2 switch soon. Don't know when the hell Ill ever switch to Ch. 2, but Im building a bit of an fx chain as we speak... trying to find sought after pedals cheap (flanger and metal zone already, both Boss). Id love to find an OCD cheap someplace. Im a David Gilmour fan through and through and a lot of my playing style comes right from Floyd's music, so Im trying to set up something nice for when I gig and/or play some covers... which I do really often. Even trying to set up one of my Squier strats to Gilmours black strat specs.
On that note... Ive got an old Hondo (not Hondo 2) and I wanna do that up really nice. But I cant find a damn thing about it and I want to know if its even worth the effort. No seriel numbers, no markings anywhere whatsoever. Completely left in the dark with this thing. I have found similar guitars and they seem to be decent, but cant find the one I have. Any of you guys know a direction you might be able to send me on UG to try to find some info?

Value is subjective. If it plays nicely who cares what it is worth.
