HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS "Vintage" GUITAR

http://www.adverts.ie/electric-guit...etal-xx/3464765

This guitar is the guitar in question.
I wanted to get a cheap super-strat to do up, and I have had many good experiences with the Vintage brand, so I found this little Ibanez rip-off quite interesting

Does anybody know the name of it? (I tried searching the name given on the advert, but I got nothing back from searches).

Or, even better yet, have you played this guitar before? I can find literally nothing about this guitar....so it would be great if you guys could pitch in

Yeah, Vintage are one of the few guitar companies I have complete faith in, I teach beginners guitar, quite a few of my students have bought vintage guitars, and surpisingly for budget-orientated guitars, they were all perfectly playable and respectable instruments.

For a guitar that you're looking to do up and change a lot to, and at that price, I don't think it matters if you can't find much more info on it. I'd go for it!

Fair enough, but I will have to live with it stock for a small while, plus, I don't want to buy something that turns out to be plywood or something

Serious GAS this week, if all goes to plan I'll have three more additions for the firm :P
Stand by for ngd goodness featuring an ibanez rg520qs , fender Mexican telecaster, and this interesting vingage. =)

i think that was one of the vintage metal axxe guitars

never tried them. i heard the trems on them were terrible, though. i suppose you could block it, and if it's cheap enough (and you don't want to use the trem) it wouldn't be the end of the world. but if you did want to use the trem a trem upgrade would cost more than the guitar...

Good input, stuff like this i was looking for.
as much as i want to rid everything out, i need the stock stuff to be playable without being annoying so that during the time I'm saving for upgrades/determining i don't get pissed off with it..
(I'm patient, but eventually everyone has a cracking point).

is the trem really that diabolical?

It looks a bit worn, but that isn't really much of a problem. I would restring it upon arrival, as you never know how much life they have in them.

At the very least it would be fun to smash on stage.
