I'm going to be the sick bastard stacking the two later in the future so two pedals are in order. The small stone was my favorite by far when I ran a big muff into it. I will see how I like it with my turbo rat before I order a used one for 50-60 bucks. Clean it was just ok though, so I willelikely have annother chorus pedal in addition to it. But that'd after I get a new reverb and volume pedal

Bought a Parker P44 on Sunday. First nice guitar I've ever had. I'm pretty hyped on it. Just wanted to share.

JEALOUS!

I love Parkers, but have never been able to find one I wanted when I had the money to buy one!

I feel like I won the lottery with this guitar. I wandered into Guitar Center to test out an Epi LP Standard and found this in the used gear section. 20 minutes later, I had my credit card ready to go. It's got a Fishman piezo system that you can actually run at the same time as the humbuckers, and black is the only color they offered that I would've wanted for this beast.

The neck is otherworldly. The guitar, simply put, feels right in my hands. Action is too low and I may need to adjust the intonation, but it plays exceptionally well as it is and, as I see it, can only get better.

I can't decide if I like the pickups or not. They seem to be pretty warm with a low output. They're very clean, though, with great clarity. I just wish they had a little more bite. Maybe I'd get a better idea of what they sound like if I hooked it up to a decent amp instead of the Line 6 in my bedroom

The P44 isn't really a high-range model. It's one of the pricier models in the P-series, but those are budget Parkers. That said, I got it for $350 and it absolutely blows away any other guitar I found for that kind of cash.

Cool Parker!

I also have a new gear day. Today I bit the bullet and bought an el Capistan, in mint condition and a 2 year warranty. I'm on the bus home now and so exited I can't really sit still. My girlfriend is pretty tired of the pedal talk by now though, so I gotta try to keep calm.

Once you get the el cap dialed in, show her. She'll swoon so hard. :p

Now to get the rest of my rig up to par... right now my guitar is worth more than everything else in my signal path twice over. I'm running it into a Behringer RV600, a Digidelay, and a Spider IV 15.

What do y'all think of the Super Champ XD? Looking to spend about $250 for the amp, and then I'll start getting my hands on the pedlz.

The super champ sounds pretty good. My friend has one. It has a nice clean sound. I don't know about all the other stuff on it.

I'm working on something like that! I've tried the el cap a little now, and daamnnn it sound so good. Exactly what I was looking for. I've made a little list on how I want my rig, and I'm almost finished with the purchases.

Guitar -> Rat > Wampler Levitahan > EHX knockout > Volume* > Cathedral with infinite mod > Barber LTD > PDS >Seppuku Memory Loss > El cap (from here stereo) > Timebender > Reverb 2* > Looper (with SD-card support for whatever speeches or whatever) > Amps

* = what I still need.

I think i'm going to give the headrush to our bass player/violinist. It doesn't really fit in a stereo rig. It's a shame though

I reckon put the headrush early in the rig then, before the stereo split?

Yeah maybe... But I dunno, it's just so freaking big, and I get overly annoyed when I use a looper that's not at the end of the chain. Also, our bass player uses it in a really good way, and I got it for 50$, so it's not a big loss anyway. One other thing that annoyed me with the Headrush is that it only had multiple outputs in tape delay mode. The different outputs per tape head is a cool feature, but it would've been so much more useful with true stereo ins and out.
