They could just bring back the Mazdaspeed version, which I believe they only sold during the first generation of the 6. That was 274hp and all wheel drive.

I think that 2.9 makes about 265hp which I suppose in a 3000lbs car isn't bad. But you have to rev the snot out of it to get any power out of it. It's not the 10 minute trips to work I would worry about. It's the guy who drove it around at redline for five years before you bought it that would concern me.

I have a Lincoln that I like to keep clean, but at 19 feet 4 inches and white wall tires that require a separate treatment, it takes about 2 hours to do properly.

Some cayman goodness

Harris is awesome. Cayman is awesome.

Worth noting that the road in the top video is one I drive fairly often for fun.

They already have a mad 2.3L pushing 270hp on their shelves, that's what they have to put in it. Remove the ''just in case'' AWD they had in the older speed 6, improve the brakes and make it available as a 6 speed manual, it would be a great car.

Great pictures mate, would love to be be near to that part of the world for some decent drives.

Booked my bike theory test today.

Should be fun.

Best do some revision!

Plan on doing that, saving up and doing my DAS asap and then go for a Suzuki GSF600.

I reckon it would be an easier way of getting a decent bit of performance for little outlay.

Though the test and leathers aren't cheap.

Bikes are great, but I don't think I'd ever get one. I think I'd run out of talent long before the bike.

Likewise.

Hence why I'd probably ride it like my race bike (push bike).

Alone and carefully.

I'm hoping to be getting a job in London so my commute will be on the train, so I won't 'need' a decent car.

A bike and a nice cheap Micra would be my perfect cheap garage
