To me, it almost looks like it's been in a store somewhere, and been played...The scratches on the head stock look like they came from placing the guitar on a stand, and whoever did it, wasn't carefull about it. Doesn't look like a new from the factory guitar...

PM me the name?

Dave, yeah it was, but not as bad as the kids who came in every day with no intention of every spending any money.

In retrospect I am glad I lost that job now.

I have nothing against them but i could see how guitar shops might. still, those students grow up to be adults with money, generally.

So I went back to the music store and they had no issues at all exchanging the guitar...This morning I decided to UPGRADE! I went with the LTD H-1001FM Basically same guitar, only with a bit better bridge, and locking tuners...(cost $150 more) The guitar is also made in Korea, vs. Indonesia where the H-351nt is made...From what I understand the Korean made models are better built so i'm pumped up to see it...

The H-1001 is definitely a large upgrade.

Just one note, it's very normal for abalone to vary a lot in colour. You can get red abalone, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, silver, black...

^ that's what i was wondering about the abalone (though i guess you could argue that using such differently-coloured abalone on the same guitar in itself was a bit thoughtless)

but still, you got an upgrade and the store was cool, so it's all good.

Very nice. The H-1001 should be killer. I would get one if they offered one in black with a Floyd Rose.

Received the H-1001FM last week! Everything looks excellent on this guitar! The playability is unreal! Love it so far! If anyone is looking for a metal machine, this is it!

I seen allot of those guitar, (love ESP/LTD) the first picture around the headstock looks ok, abalone comes in many different colors. But the rest is 100% defected.
