It's been a minute since I posted but here's a question for y'all. I finally found a used Dual Rec in really good condition for a reeeeally good price and pulled the trigger. It's an older amp and supposedly it's a limited edition model with a silver sparkle tolex around the outside. That's what I'm trying to find more info on to see what that's all about and I'm coming back with nothing. What y'all think?

edit, also it supposedly had a matching cab with the sparkle tolex. It had been in and out of the used section at that GC before but from what they said the last owner had to pay some bills and only wanted to part with the head.

Double edit: got an email back from Mesa. Turns out it's a 2005 custom order with the discontinued Black Sparkle finish. I still hate that I'll probably never have the matching cab.

What exactly are you talking about?

The square white pad is probably just to help him maintain position for slapping with his wrist.

What I'm seeing in the soundhole is probably a microphone, and he isn't touching it at all.

Hi all, my Boss ME-25 multi effects pedal is not working. As in, pressing the pedal down on it will not activate or deactivate the pedal fx. Does anybody else know of this problem or how to fix it?

And I'd make a thread for this but apparently as a new member I'm not allowed to.

First off, save off all your patches to your pc.
Next, factory default it. Instructions are in the manual. Appendix 1.
If that fails, download the latest firmware from Boss and install it.

do i have to bias my fryette sig:x after power tube swap?

also, i want to make sure i am doing this right. for my splawn promod, i pulled two tubes out (outer pair) and put it on half power. so since its on half power, i cut the ohms in half. i have an 8 ohm cab, so i run the head at 4 ohms? correct? i am pretty sure but lack confidence at the moment.

Yes they do. It looks like it has to be biased for both power settings too.

And yes. half the tubes, halve the impedance on the amp.

K dude is it better to get a POD Pod pro plus that pedalboard for it or whatever it's called for 237 Euro or an XT live for 130 Euro?
