5 Criteria, 1 Guitar

Hey guys,

If any one can find a guitar (for sale) that has all these 5 criteria please let me know or link it.

1. Strat Body
2. Recessed Floyd
3. Set Neck or Neck Thru
4. No Rosewood Fretboard
5. 3 Pickup Cavities (looking to Insert a DG-20 set)

Thanks for all the help, really appreciate it!

Cheers,

BTW would prefer black or red finish in any sort (flamed, quilted...)
Thanks again

Exact Strat body? Or just any S shape in general? I know fender made a few neck through and set neck guitars - check the used market.

So you pretty much want a superstrat... you sir are in luck ;P

Check out Ibanez and Jackson. I've never owned them, but played quite a few and have rather enjoyed them

Both do a few different superstrats so hopefully they will have one which fits your specs

Sorry I cant do specifics

I'm pretty sure Carvin will make exactly what you want if you can't find anything. Take a look at Ibanez, Jackson, and USA Charvel models like the San Dimas too.

EDIT: Do you have a price range?

I do have a price range, willing to spend up to 1500$ and BTW I really really don't want to build a custom guitar, can't afford or wait for one really so...

This is the closest thing I can find at the moment. I've never heard of an SSS config neck-thru superstrat.

Carvin has some double cutaways that might work for you:

http://www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/neckthrough.php

And they have some of them in stock, such as:

http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/110439
http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/113099

Still, set neck "Strats" are not common- going custom may actually save you time.

Actually sorry for all the trouble iv'e done up to now but after looking at Ibanez Prestige's and Jackson Soloists than I have changed my mind and made this forum a lot more harder by saying that I am ONLY looking for a STRAT STYLE BODY.
Sorry for all the confusion and trouble, thanks a whole bunch !

Besides Carvin I can't think of a single guitar that meets all of your specs, however I can think of some guitars that might be almost what you want.

http://www.espguitars.com/guitars/e...horizon-fr.html - only 2 pickups.

http://www.themusiczoo.com/category/3640/Suhr-Guitars/ - several models. While the price is a bit over what you want, they have all your specs except Neck-thru/Set-neck. And used should be in your price range. I don't know where your preference for set/thru-necks comes from, but if it's a matter of just the feel of the joint, to be fair Suhrs have quite slim joints compared to a regular Fender Strat.

You're not going to find one pre-made.

Sorry.

We talked about the same thing on GGNA.

Stop being difficult.

I'm sure that if I looked through the 200+ luthiers & manufacturers I have bookmarked, I could find someone making a set-neck Strat bodied guitar as a standard design.

Odds are, it would take hours of time, and the guitar would be out of your price range because it will be one of the more obscure luthiers.

So, your best bets are DC series Carvins- custom neck throughs which will take time- US Masters Legrands or Vectors- patented compression set neck/bolt ons that, like Carvins, are made to order- or a luthier you can afford.
