Currently watching Hellraiser, and I didn't notice how good Clare Higgins is as an actor, was always so focused on the cenobytes and Ashley Laurence (the first true laurence). So many quotable lines in this movie it's ridiculous, not even just by the cenobytes.

So fellas, what horror movies are we watching for the spooky scary month of October?

I'm getting ready to start on the first Alien movie, both in honor of the month of the ghoulyghouls and in honor of the new fantastic Aliens game.

The first Alien movie is a classic. I still haven't seen Aliens, or anything of the non-Ridley Scott films.

Alien is a great film. Claustrophobic horror that is difficult to replicate. One of the best movies ever in my eyes.

Today I'm watching The Wickerman, 1973 for obvious reasons. I do not understand the fascination with remaking old horror films. So many great films have been remade as absolute garbage. The grainy camera, unnecessary nudity, over-acting and semi-realistic dialogue is what made those old films so fun to watch.

Carrie (2013 remake is literally the worst movie in existence), Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Wickerman, Evil Dead, Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Omen (The remake is quite possibly one of the worst films I've ever seen). I'm sure there's more and I'm sure not all of them are direct remakes as they are "adaptations to the original story" or some garbage.

There's a lack of originality in the mainstream film industry, when films like "Maze Runner" are being created. I'm over-hyping the older films entirely, no doubt about that. I'm sure there were equally awful films back in the 70s/80s.

I'm sure of a lot of things.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my favorite horror film of all time. It's just pure grittiness. After you watch it you just feel disgusting. That meat hook scene, oh lord

Currently being watched. I love this image and I think it's the cover of the film as well.

I prefer John Carpenter's The Thing over Alien, but I like them both. I like "can't trust anyone" element added in.

I have a friend who is at wits end trying to find a song by a band from a fan video that is now private on youtube and he can't see it. Can any of you guys help?

Here is the reddit post he wrote about it: http://www.reddit.com/r/startrek/co...ouple_of_years/
