A helpful guide for bands who want be professional

A friend of mine who has been in a band for a number of years has written this guide on starting a band and trying to get into the professional scene. They have recorded an EP and full album on a record label and have done their fair share of gigs. Give it a read

Good article overall, IMHO.

"a morally vicarious industry" doesn't make sense. Maybe the word he was looking for was "vacuous" ?
