I would rather personally own the asset (which depreciates minimally, since Teslas are built to last/excel all inspections/etc)

Than be over-expensed. Thankfully Uber is now in my area, however.

I don't think you understand the implications of Our Lord Our Savior of the Planet Elon Musk,

It is linear accelerations. It has 0 gears. Torque buildup is an archic means for acceleration. Human error will soon be obsolete.

I think I'll be okay with it. I believe in the future gasoline powered cars that you drive yourself will a bit of a luxury. Like owning a boat or horse now. Gas will be more expensive, parts will be more expensive, you'll need a special license when normal likely people won't.

At the end of the day you'll be driving a relic from a different time and look damn cool doing it.

All I'm hearing is a lil bitch who can't handle a real car and doesn't know how to enjoy the finer things

Nope. They'll have to pry the beautifully stitched napa leather steering wheel and shifter from my cold dead hands....

...for when I inevitably wrap myself around a tree

Now that was funny, and a damn good comeback!

Too bad it took you so long to think of it...

I wouldn't mind autonomous driving as an option I could engage or disengage.

I don't trust human engagement for this decision. Overrides should not be accepted --when it has been shown time and time again -- that these decisions lead to human error. If we can disregard the sequel to Captain America for a second, we will recognize this as a truth.

Get rid of the need for gas intervention, and the solution is clear to anyone with some semblance of a brain. Buy TSLA.
