I feel ya, where I live it's either all solid state or low-gain tube amps so I sorta had to do mega research and then order mine. Thank God I made a good choice.

I'll give her a go with some EL34's if I get the chance for sure I'm surprised I like the 6L6's as much as I do, I usually prefer amps with EL's but I love how they the 6L6's sound in the Ironheart.

I have a question. I have a song that would start on the clean channel, then switch to the lead channel. No problem, right? Well then I need to use the rythm channel immediately after that. My question is this, can I toggle between the clean and rythm channels while using the lead channel? I created an account here because I have been wanting this amp, but this footswitch thing might be a deal breaker.

^ generally it better to either:

A.) Send the guy a PM (private message) and ask your question
B.) Start your own thread and ask your question
C.) Send Laney and email/or call and ask your question
D.) Find the 'Only Laney' thread (so I heard you liek Laneys) and ask your question

Bumping a NAD thread from 3 months ago is not what I would have done.

Welcome to GGnA

If you start your own thread I'll be happy to try to get you some help.

I have purchased the ironheart studio.... Almost same features in compact size and less power... Sounds great... The review of footswitch really made my day... I was totally confused before I read it!

This thread is indeed ancient, but I guess many people will still read it in this case...

Regarding the footswitch, it is really a bit confusing at first, but it's absolutely fucking brilliant when you figure out how it works - it allows jumping between 3 channels with great ease with just 2 buttons and decreases tapdancing by quite a lot.
