Just realize that you're floating in dangerous territory now. The whole point of a FwB relationship is the lack of commitment. She doesn't have to answer to you nor do you to her when it comes to romantic life. If you start expecting her to, most likely, your relationship has run its course and you either fess up and commit or end it.

A majority of the time, a FWB deal is usually orchestrated by the girl or driven by the girl. Why? So she can have sex with whoever she wants while still having her main "go-to guy". Gentleman, this is what i refer to as a "slut." Not a wh0re. A slut is more the mindset, rather than the act of. For example, a slut is usually a ***** but a ***** is not always a slut. I do not like sluts. They are dumb and shallow and a waste of my time in any capacity. I am not attracted to them, regardless how hot they are, and their powers of attraction do not work on me. Also, i've noticed that girls that do FWBs are more likely to cheat than girls that do not do FWBs.

Slight digression aside, as i was saying, sex is great and everything, but im old school. Yes i've had my drunken instances (that dont need to be brought up here lol), but for the most part, ive always been a girlfriend kind of guy rather than a get-some-pussy kind of guy. So a FWB thing would never work for me, and i've found a lot of guys that it wont work for who dont know it and end up getting attracted. In fact, the vast majority of FWB end because the guy gets attracted, not the girl.

got my first legitimate girlfriend. i had known her for about three years... heard she had liked me when i met her but didn't really consider it because i liked someone else. plus because of her weight (she's a bigger girl) and social stigma that would come from it. fucking stupid.

going to about a week ago, i'm hanging out with her that night in the park. i played a song of mine for her, and we both talked about some particularly rough family and emotional shit. she cried, i eventually did too after hearing about her racist (she's also half mexican), dickhead stepfather and her family having financial problems. then we both just kind of sat in silence. she had gradually come closer to me throughout the entire conversation, and i realized she was next to me.

something in me kinda clicked then... i realized how cute she was, and she had this longing look in her eyes. next thing i know our foreheads are touching, and she patiently waits for me to gather up the guts to kiss her. we did... i kind of fucked up a few times because i hadn't ever kissed anyone. but she just kind of laughed it off and said it was fine.

it all felt pretty romantic to me. never thought something like this would happen out of the blue. i feel so stupid now judging her partially based off of her weight. i actually find it pretty attractive now and she has a really cute face. we've already been dating for a week, feels it's been like a day. fucking cheesy, i know, but it's true... we get along really well, and she laughs at all of the weird, awkward shit i say and do. i haven't been this happy in a long time, if ever.

i really hope this works out. if my first girlfriend also turns out to be the only person i've kissed, touched, etc. etc... that would be completely okay.

i like that you tried to flip that round on me, but no. you misinterpreted his comment, i didn't. i didn't say that he was doing FWB *correctly* - clearly he isn't as he's developed feelings for her. which is why he should have a word with her - either to nip it in the bud or to turn it into somethin that it ain't currently.
