Gonalons just got sent off in an FA Cup semi-final in extra time for me and I ended up losing a 2 goal lead to Chelsea (I'm now at Arsenal via Newcastle and Wolfsburg). I was pissed at him so I fined him 2 weeks wages and then he came bitching to me and moaning (he's been sent off before too) so I pulled a Pardew on him by dropping him to the U18s, transfer listing him and telling my director of football to get rid for any price.

Useless ****. He can only play at DM too and I cba retraining him as a CM, especially when he just isn't good enough to start there anyway.

Admittedly it leaves me with a 34 year old Arteta or an out-of-position Granit Xhaka at DM

Hopefully the 25% offer is still active at that point or else I might just wait until January or so because there's other games I want.

release is in late November and beta is two weeks before that.

I had to start my United season again as I got a new computer.

Just near the end of my first season. It's taken me a while because it's been boring, this formation is the tits . Finished the domestic season unbeaten with 104 points, my only additions to the squad were Aurier and Kovacic. The real hero of the season has been Welbeck, he's been absoslutely sick. None of my strikers are in the top 4/5 for scoring, although my team finished top for goals scored. All of them bagged like 15+ goals and assists though, so none of them were poor. Evra and Aurier both chipped in with plenty of goals/assists because of my formation.

FA cup final next and CL final following that. Unbeaten domestic season and the treble usually means you've won the save, but it's only my first season . Not sure where to go from there if I win them both...

edit: done the treble

I actually lost one game

I lost against Dortmund in the last 16 of the CL because I put out a weakened side in the first leg. Paggered them in the second leg though after I put a full strength team out . Sold Hernandez for 40m just now, going to rebuild my defence.

5-3-2 (yes LVG). Three CBs, two wing-backs, two CMs, a CAM, and two strikers.

I'll post a screenshot of my player roles and how the team plays tomorrow as it's really tedious to type . It's great because the waste of space players I couldn't sell for anything become wanted by multiple teams because they start playing well .

Off the top of my head (referencing a list)

Instructions: retain possession, shorter passing, work ball into box, play out of defence, drill crosses, run at defence, exploit the middle, look for overlap, play narrower, use tighter making and hassle opponents.

Only one I'm not sure on is work ball into the box, dunno if I still use that.

Player roles

CF (A) - P (A)
AP (A)
AP (S) - DLP (D)
CWB CB CB CB CWB
GK

Make sure you push the RB and LB forward so they are at RWB and LWB.

I always do the same stuff for opponent instructions too, but that's too tedious to type . Bare in mind your wing-backs and CMs are ALWAYS tired after a match, so you need to be well stocked in both areas. It's also not advisable to try and implement it mid season, you'll get fired because they'll play shit . Preseason and heavy training usually puts you as close as you need to be prepared before putting your training back down to average.

I have started a game as Southampton, and jesus christ they have fitness issues. Luke Shaw dies after every single game.
