I have had GAS for a Long Necker bass for a long time
but they very seldom show up for sale around here. I'm
too scared to buy one on the internet, not being able to
check it out first.

Finally, one showed up on CL for $150. I hurried to the
guy's house. It had a backward bow in the 3 piece neck,
but I got it anyway.

To fix the neck, I put on ROTO 77 High Tension strings
on it and tuned it up a half step and wedged a thick
pocket knife under the strings and changed positions
a few times,



It just took one day and the neck now works great with
ROTO 77's. 77's are great strings by the way.











This bass did not disappoint me. I can't stop going to it,
