changed to having the guitar on my left leg

feels like so much tension has been released from my right shoulder. I can pick a lot smoother and more relaxed now but I also have to keep my head turned so I think eventually I will strain my neck

anyway i can keep the guitar on my right knee and have the same kind of relaxed shoulder feeling like on the left knee?

i think my long arms or wide shoulders are partly to blame lol

It shouldn't strain your neck. If you start feeling a bit of strain, just take a break. And eventually you will get to a point that you only rarely need to look at the guitar, so you won't have to worry about straining anything then.

Having it on your right leg will always cause tension because you always have to hold your arm in an odd position.

Besides that, he's right this time. As usual.
