And the official "cooler than you" snack in the American nerd-o-sphere, IME.

I never had any.

So Ryan is some kind of evil genius and took my broken spring, bent the broken end into a new hook, and fixed my volume pedal in like 10 minutes. So yeah, vp is back on the board haha.

I rearranged things too. I put the smmh last in the chain and I took the carbon copy out of the chain. I just don't use it much, and I figured I might try living without it for a while before I decide to sell it.

Pocky is a decent snack, but nothing to rave over.

I was teaching a lesson on Asian History a few years ago to my class for Teaching Methodology and Pedigogy. I have them all Pocky sticks. They loved them, but then again, the teacher was giving them food and it was not 3 year old tootsie rolls so of course they were happy.

Lots of exciting things have happened this week:

First, I got my bitquest! This thing is sick. Worth it for the reverb alone honestly.

Also, the first nice longsword prototype is done. I'm building up another one to send to Korey for reviewing, then I'm taking orders for the first production batch.

Here's a clip too. My playing sucks but the tone doesn't! https://soundcloud.com/emberwreath/...ord-teaser-demo

Sounds nice! What are all the knob and the switch parameters set to do? And what gear did you use to record it with? c:

I like the look you have there. Don't know of anything that's laid out quite like that

Also, tell me more about the bit quest reverb haha

Edit: just listened to the demo. Dude it sounds really good. It sounds like a natural extension of the original tone, rather than adding a pedal on top of the tone. Also, really enjoyed the native wildlife/aviator riffs!

Thank you! It has your basic gain/level controls and a hybrid 3-band EQ. The bass and treble are a James-Baxandall stack and the midrange is an active gyrator with selectable frequencies on the toggle. I changed settings constantly throughout the demo so you get a taste of everything. Also, I was using my Jazzmaster into the head I built, which is a sort of Sunn/Vox/Orange hybrid.

Thanks! The final one will be rotated 90 degrees. I miscalculated the width of the board when I was laying it out but that's an easy fix. I'm super happy with how it sounds though.

And the bitquest reverb is big and tweakable with a really cool infinite decay setting available. Plus, you can make it really fuzzy. You should watch some demos, there are a few great ones.

Could the bitquest and unholy grail as a combo replace your SPACE or not quite?

Dude. The procession sounds so good. I'm really temped to go with that over a v2 wet. Hmmmm.

Edit: seems it doesn't have trails, which is reeeeaaaally annoying

I feel like maybe I could live without it haha. Like turning on and off a subtle reverb probably won't be too much of a problem. And with huge reverbs, I likely won't need to turn them off and go straight into something without it. I don't know haha. Going to ponder it a while

I reckon you could almost get around it by putting it before a delay too, because its kinda physically impossible to turn everything off at once and if the delay has trails then ya sweet.
