Well after a lot of drama, I ended up getting the Peavey Classic 50.

The YCV80 was broken.
The JCA 50h had gain bleed over when I tried to do cleanish vs high gain.

I ordered a OD3 to go with the Classic 50 to mix tones up, clean, light crunch, med gain.

Thanks to every again for the advice

The OD3 works well for that purpose, I use one myself. Enjoy the amp!

Amp came in today, I haven't e-mailed Peavey to date it yet but it's black tweed with effects loop. Looks 95% brand new. Preamp tubes weren't stock(all 12ax7EH that I switchd up ) haven't lookd at the EL84's yet.

The youtube clips really don't do this amp justice. From what I read I was expecting to be disappointed with the lead channel but I found for the style I'm playing the two channels with shared EQ compliment each other terrific.

The gain is WAY more than I was expecting, at 11 I could easily record riffs like Comeback Kid and other hardcore bands and sound just as thick and grindy.

All in all the amp was $349 from GC and shipping was only $12.50 so for about $375 after tax(technically $345 cause I cought a large GC from Cardpool at 10% off) I got WAY more than I was expecting. I'm ditching my plans to get a 4x12 as the amp is plenty loud but I do want to find another versatile 2x12 combo for stereo delay riffs. But that's way later.

So thank you 4FunandProphet, you were right. I've owned/played a Valveking, VTM, 5150, JCM900 and none felt "me"

This combo feels "me"
