2012 DA14 (Asteroid) About To Pass Earth

Live Stream from NASA showing us a live stream of the asteroid DA14. 2012 DA14 is a near-Earth asteroid with an estimated diameter of 50 meters and an estimated mass of 190,000 metric tons.

Tune in if you're interested! It's passing through the Geostationary Orbit of Earth. That's where all our Satellites are.

For some reason I thought the live-stream was going to be from a satellite that was actually filming the meteorite coming towards it.

Yeah, but it's cool to think that maybe in some dim distant past the one that hit us and the one flying past were one and the same until maybe they got blown apart or something.
