Guitar Pro 6 alternatives

Ok hey guys, im not sure if this is the right forum, sorry if it isnt

im looking for a free alternative to guitar pro 6.
something that is as user friendly as guitar pro 6 and has something like RSE so that your stuff doesnt have the midi sound.

ive been using tuxguitar, which is fine and its great for an open source project, but compared to guitar pro 6, its very lumpy and weird and hard to use, and it doesnt sound as good.

are there any nice free alternatives?

Tuxguitar is as good as it gets for freeware. unless you know about a certain buccaneer.

I must ask, why not get Guitar Pro 6? It's well worth the money, I compose all my music on there.

Might as well get TuxGuitar instead if you're thinking of going the illicit route. It's free anyway and you won't spend eternity in damnation for your crimes.
