i actually don't remember us talking about Love here, but I'm pretty sure i didn't check em out till we stopped being as active here so maybe I just wasn't hip to the talk then. god that cover is fantastic though.

I played the DS version of FFIII when I had a DS and I have the original japanese one on my PSP. The original one is just ridiculously difficult. The DS version is more balanced but still quite challenging. And of course the visuals are much better. The story is pretty much nothing though. I still recommend checking it out. There's a quality DS emulator out there.

I enjoyed Tactics although I never finished it. Tactics, FFXII, and Vagrant Story all take place in the same universe. Unfortunately I just never found that universe to be very interesting. The Shakespearean plot of Tactics just always seemed overly dense and dry to me. I still try on occasion to get into it because I realize it's a well written and intricate plot.

And FFXIII has the most beautifully designed battle system of the series. Of any jrpg I can think of actually.

Damn RIP Rowdy Piper

Zombie Juice makes a pretty cool reference to him in this song

Eh, probably not. I already have 3 of the 5 games, and I prefer to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas on console.

Listening to Nature and Organisation's Beauty Reaps the Blood of Solitude, and it's absolutely amazing to me that all these guys had such an influence on one another. Boyd Rice, Douglas P., Marc Almond (Soft Cell), David Tibet, Steven Stapleton and so on.

Soft Cell was the one that threw me off. But then you get bands that are all linked by members, like Psychic TV, Current 93, Death in June, Michael Cashmore (Nature and Organisation), Coil..the list goes on. It's quite overwhelming. Quite possibly one of the most interesting and unique circle of people that make music.

Anyways, here's some Nature and Organisation for you while I waste my day away thinking about stupid things:

EDIT: Thanks to VampireGoldfish for introducing me to Cashmore. Although I found Nature and Organisation by stumbling around forums for a while, and had no idea they were related. I recognized Tibet's vocals and I knew something had to be up. Not complaining although I find Tibet's voice can be something to get adjusted to, much as any metal is as well. It was an easy task.

It's weird, my girlfriend listens to the odd metalcore track (not my choice, clearly a bad decision in her past, I did show her Death in June and she liked it) and it still sickens me to hear the vocals on them.
