Board almost done...

My Voodoo 4x4 should arrive on Tuesday along with the mounting kit so then the gator can go back on the old board for my acoustic effects.

Then that free space is for a Klone. And the trinity will budge to the right and I'll fit a hall of fame mini at the end of the chain for a second reverb option.

The switch on the volume pedal does channel switching on the amp.

All the patch cables are solid core Evidence Audio SIS.

Think I'm gonna go for a teal black. Haven't bought a guitar or amp in over a year, so it's about time. And the specs are basically what I'd order in a private stock.

my old mccarty was teal black. it's a great color. not an attention vvhore prs color at all.

that would be killer with a korina natural back.

The burnt maple leaf and charcoal cherry burst are gorgeous too imo

Don't care a whole lot for the violet though

11lbs I'd have to go straight to the hospital I think

there's an odd guitar which looks good with gold hardware, but it's normally the exception, I agree with you.

It's got it's first proper outing on Sunday. Been having great fun with the volume pedal swells/multiple delays/cathedral reverb, it's more ambient than I'd normally use but is great for the church stuff.

My LP is about 10 pounds
I can't play it for too long because of my back, but I can play it for an hour or two fine

I don't like any of the other finishes, TBH. The charcoal cherry burst looks like something a 15 year old would like. Burnt maple leaf is okay, but too attention whorish. I ****ing love this red McCarty though. Wish that was an option.

show

EDIT: Holy shit big pic.

Yeah, I don't play any church music but being able to do those swells must be a prerequisite or something for it

EDIT: Holy shit big pic.

I'd never buy a guitar with either of em but still think they look pretty. If I were to buy, it would definitely either be the makena blue or teal black, and most likely the teal black since it's more subtle. Would probably take the teal over that red McCarty too, but I'm always partial to blue/blue-ish guitars.

Still trying to get my Ribeye Q pics together but they are on a different camera SD.

Cell phone is so much easier now days so here I present tonight's Fish Tacos - with diced jalapenos, crystal hot sauce and a little gorgonzola, lemon juice, rub, basil, sea salt, grilled pepper and mushroom and the obvious other stuff.

hot damn

If we had a full band every week it would probably be different, but as we generally lack a drummer and a bassist (the only drummer in our church does shift work and is often working and the only bassist is also the only reasonable sound engineer other than myself) I need to be less prominent or it just sounds odd.
