Anyway- oil that fretboard and shred the shit out of it!

already did and got her strung up and oiled the fretboard. god i hate changing tunings/different gauge on full floaters, i have been at it for probably 60 minutes total. sounds pretty nice. the v7 and v8 pickups are much better than i thought, plays nicely.

i am beginning to notice it is quite as 'nice' as the 2XXX and 3XXX, but i am more than happy with it.

their model numbers are too confusing... i just play the damn things .

I know what you mean. That's where ibanezrules and http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/Ibanez_Wiki come in handy!

Either way, even the 1xxxx prestiges are amazing instruments. For what I've paid for mine (close to what you paid for yours), it's definitely a great deal. Enjoy!

looks like an edge pro, but i'd need a close-up to be sure.

does it have the wee saddle inserts? if it does, i'd assume it's an edge pro.

My RGR1570 definitely has an Edge Pro. Pretty sure that is what you have.

I love my 1570.

just checked it out and it is an edge pro as you said. thanks. i haven't really been overly agressive with the trem because i don't know where to get a trem arm, and this one doesn't have it.

that link to the ibanez thread forum is amazing. tons of diagrams and picks so big for whoever found it. here is the link if you didn't catch it further up in the thread http://forum.ibanez.com/yaf_postst8...l-Diagrams.aspx
