I started working on this today and I'm pretty happy with what I have: at least I like it better than my other experimental songs, but I'm stuck and I'm not shure how to continue it, or if I should at all. Gimme some insights and maybe a nice edit if you care enough, and I'll collab with you if I like what you did

I can see what that guy means by anxiety. It's very discordant - which i think is pretty cool. I can picture this being recorded and it would be prettttty full on sonically.
Although the section between 42 and 58 (bars) really let me take a breathe.

Pretty solid some of the riffs i really dug and i am by no means a huge fan of the metalz.

Coming from you, that's actually hilarious.

There were some cool ideas in there, especially that part with the guitar stops and bass pops, but the drums were annoying. Over the top in many places. Also, after a while the dissonance gets annoying. Try changing things up, add some melody in there or something.

First, your genre is called trollmetal. I hate that senseless dissonance .
But you had some nice ideas that had really some groove in it, but just focus sometimes to make good music instead of nosense..

Lol, hence the mathcore-ish in the title. I tried to make it as atonal as possible in that regard. And I tend to make my drums pretty insane, so I'll give you that Can't get enough of MIDI blast beats yo.
And the melodic part goes a bit against what I was trying to do, but I see what you mean. Thats why I added the clean break. Thanks anyway, nice crit. Anything for me to crit back?


Like I said before, that's pretty much what I was trying to accomplish here. I do enjoy my dissonance but I get it when people don't lol. And yes, it's pretty much nonsense musically: I don't know much theory but I tried to experiment with things a bit. Oh well. And about me creating a new genre: I was beaten to it by Gorguts and TDSP by roughly 15 years lol.
Hope I get some proper mathcore lovers to crit this song, or I'll be a sad panda.

I must say, it's very dissonant but it feels like you put some thought behind it. The transitions feels pretty natural as well.

but if I finished all of my material i'd have stuff for:

7 death metal records (EDIT:if I expanded every single idea into 3 minute songs, and if every album had 45 minutes)
1 grind record
then there's the anedonia ep that i haven't done anything with yet

so yeah lol.

This isn't really the type of stuff i listen to so it's hard for me to give a solid crit tbh, but it has some cool riffs and grooves, a recorded version will sound great.
