I'd start by checking out Marty Schwartz's Youtube channel, I'm sure you'll find a lesson that you're interested in. Stick to learning one or two basic songs with open chords.

Once you have the fundamentals nailed then experiment with learning as many different styles as you can. This will help you become an overall better guitarist and will likely broaden your musical tastes.
