The TJR fvckin smokes it man, guitarist in my band has one. As for light gain had the toyroom zendrive for a while and that kicked it as well. TJR is probably what you are after though.

Yeah, after having a bit more of a look, I'm sort of considering the TC Spark as well. I know it's not really an overdrive per se, but it seems it'd be able to give me that tiny little bit more hair on my clean tone I'm looking for.
Sounds like it'd be better over an already distorted tone to get a bit more gain as well.

Wrong genre for the thread perhaps but Sturgill Simpson's guitarist has some slide madskillz going on - never seen such good volume knob manipulation...

Enjoy occasionally controversial ramblings related to guitars? I have a blog which meets these criteria.

I'll chuck a fb message!
And that finish looks nice as. Think I might almost like if more than the two colour swirls you do...

I like tubes, I like solid state. Amps are different beasts across the board...it's just a matter of finding what you like.

We played a show Saturday with Au Revoir and this local band called Blare. So fun.

Blare was using jc120s. Really had me wanting one haha. My friend Jon is one of the guitarists and there were parts where the band is playing these big wall of sound type parts and Jon was still playing totally clean and his sound was just as full and thick as everyone else. So good.

Also, the last section of our last song has the same chords as the end of Freebird.....so......I broke out into the Freebird solo at the end. So much lulz. Most people didn't get it, though. Turns out most people don't even know what the solo sounds like hahaha.

So you managed to pull of playing Freebird without anyone requesting it? That's some bassackwards type stuff.

Exactly. Hahaha.

Also, bought a new computer. Should be here tomorrow, meaning I can start recording again!
