That was pretty cool. Had some trouble getting into it at the start, but then I got in the mood and was totally digging it. 8/10

Have been really into these guys lately:

7/10 It didn't immediately grab my attention, but it grew on me and I enjoyed it quite a bit; it piqued my interest enough that I'll probably listen again.

Reminds me of old 80s RHCP with the delivery of the lyrics and the instrumentals too but the tone clearly being very different.

That stuff is a big compliment ^ however, at the same time feels like its lacking something.

6/10 would probably grow to a 7 though.

I always find that type of thing cringey and extremely lame. They have talent, but eh, 4/10. Also, extremely over-produced for what it is.

Good intro, expressive voice. Banjo transition is a little jumpy, as is the following section with the drums, but it pieces together well in the end. Feels very stitched-together, as though it's a collection of samples, but I think it works well. Also adds a thickness to the sound that the banjo lacked. Layered vocals is where it comes into its own.

Linear song structure really suits it, and I'm almost reminded of Swans with the strumming + horns + aforementioned linearity, especially with albums like the seer.

6/10. much more the sort of song that works best when placed among others like it.

I give it a 6/10 I hated the guys voice. Everything else about the song was good except that.

Two songs in this video, because I can't find a video of this live that has only the first one. Ends at about 4:10, you can ignore what comes after that.

I don't think Fishboy or that song I posted was folkish at all, but yeah
