Oh man, a memory foam strap would be great to have right now, not gonna lie.

Only at times, though.

I would like a Jackson DK2 though, one of the newer ones.

I buy whatever looks nice to me at the store I happen to be visiting.

Jackson DK2 is a great guitar for the money. Can't remember what year mine is 09 or 10 probably. MIJ trans blue with licenced floyd and SD pups.

Straps - I use a big wide levy padded thing that's extra long with my LP. I'm tallish so it's not round my knees but the normal length one didn't feel right. Strats I don't use padded but have a wide soft leather DSL strap

Don't get a new DK2.

Go used, the DK2Ms are epic.

Also, what is the LPTs stance on beards?

I can't help but feel mine is getting a bit survivalist

I gave up and shaved. I looked like an old, scruffy hipster.

I used some nice beard/tache wax that smelt nice to tame it....

I know they're great. I've played like 20 (yes, about 20) of the older pro series. I'm talking about the new ones.

But the new ones look sooooo awesome though. And they have better hardware out of the box than the old ones (FR1000 over an LFR).

I'm honestly willing to risk getting an MIM one new, and retuning it if I don't like it. They look far too amazing to ignore.

I could just be a moron though. It's a really, really difficult decision to make.

Get an old one.

Use the money you saved and drop in an OFR.

I know, I know. It's the logical thing to do, but I can't help but not eye the newer ones.
