Question orange micro terror or roland cube 80xl

hi im looking to upgrade my amp and my options are the roland cube 80xl and the orange micro terror with a 112 cab.
im looking to play heavy stuff like bring me the horizon count your blessings sorta stuff but i also have a lot of original stuff so i need it to be quite versatile.
thanks and
EDIT: my budget is $600 max preferably less though.
those amps are just accessible to me here in south africa.
im currently using a schecter c-1 elite with a seymour duncan jd in the bridge but am planning to upgrade to an esp ltd elite eclipse or horizon(i have not decided yet )

Out of those two, the Roland Cube 80XL.

But why are those two the only options?
You can get better help if you provide us with:

Quote:
Budget? - What is practical for you and what is your limit?

Genres? - What style do you play mostly, fav guitarists, do you need cleans, etc?

New or Used? - Lots of great amps out there used, especially in a down economy.

Home or Gig? - Also important. Maybe you do both. Jamming with a drummer can be considered 'gigging' but you won't have a PA etc.

Closest City? - We aren't here to stalk you but we need to know where you are in the world roughly and we can help further if we know what city you are in (ie craigslist, local shops, Guitar Center used section, etc)

Current Gear? - Also good for us to know.

Well I would go for the Orange. Can produce an unholy amount of distortion & is ideal for BMTH style of music. The cleans are nice too. It is a very bassy sounding amp though, might struggle if you want to play crisp thrash metal.

You have a 600 dollars budget?
That could get you something nicer if you order online from a store like Thomann... Something like an Orange Tiny Terror combo, which is a proper tube amp (unlike the Micro Terror, which is a hybrid).

i would love to get that but delivery for an amp is quite hellish, and i forgot to mention it has to have a headphone out.

For future reference, Thomann has a flatrate of 50 for deliveries to South Africa, and most big stores will offer similar conditions.

I know what it's like when the stores nearby don't have much selection and they're expensive.
That's why i get most of my stuff by ordering from big stores online. Usually you can find great deals for brand-new gear.
