I don't care about peoples' music taste. it would be really boring to have a girlfriend who didn't have any different likes and dislikes than me, anyway. if anything, i'd rather have a significant other who listened to boring mainstream music because it would probably correlate with the fact that she'd be more functional/grounded and less of an embarrassing geek than me

My last few exs have liked acoustic bullshit, indie bullshit, and pop bullshit.

A fan of heavy metal to some degree, and can appreciate it, but have her own individual tastes. That's what makes us all human, right?
Definitely not strictly radio music and garbage like that. If that's all she likes then chances are I wouldn't be with her in the first place, because I like someone I can connect with musically as well.
