Lightbulb Modified my Line 6 HD147 today!

I replaced the UV/Blue LEDs with white LEDs on my Line 6 HD147. Thought it was a good idea because everyone who've modded their HD147's LEDs use normal blue, red or green LEDs. So why not white? Looks pretty cold with the white lights in my opinion. Tell me what you think

It does look nice....if only sound mods could be easily had.

Does it sound "brighter"? JK - it looks great. I really want to try one of them.

Yeah I love this amp. But the ShortBoard is a MustHave. People complain about it having digital sound, but that's not true. That may be because they've not had the time to fine tune to the sound you want. I can agree that the Spider2 had digital sound and alot of people say this has digital sound because they've only tried the Spider. Yeah the sound is digital. But it doesn't sound like it is. Everyone should give the HD147 a try.

a lot of people sometimes mistake the HD147 for the Spider III HD150, because of similar name.

Stevo, you don't have any clue about LEDs do you?
Just desolder the old LEDs and solder the new ones. Easy as walking.
I didn't modify the amp istelf.

People mod computers all the time.. Its actually pretty big business and enough to fill a convention center full of new products and modders.

Hi I would like to the same. Replace my totally dimmed Leds on my HD147. I unscrewed the 2 wooden sides but after looking at it from the sides. I don't know where to start unscrewing to get access to the Led PCB. Any hints or pictures how to take it apart would be very helpful
Thanks
