Thanks Ragingkitty for the input and feedback.

Gumbi's thread has been approved and he is working on a second one.

Phil's thread can be included as well but needs to be posted in here officially. We'll use your post for that formality. As far as feedback on Phil's thread I would suggest either posting your thoughts in his thread directly or sending him a PM as I doubt he may see it here.

v.....Yep, we're good.

I just got in contact with Phil about the Table of Contents, he'll probably just throw it in the first post. i was actually thinking a Table of Contents would be good for any thread more than 1 or 2 posts long. I will update my Principles of Sound thread

i actually already have a 2nd thread out there (Powering Your Pedals), i just haven't formally submitted it yet cuz i am waiting to clear some of this content out the queue first.

Hi Chaps, wow this has got to be the most ambitious thread on UG by a distance. Hope it all works out the way you want. Gumbi has been in touch and I am happy with his table of contents. The original thread didn't need one so much because it was a stand alone thread.

Good luck with all you do

Phil

Yep, I'm aware that Gumbi's post was approved and added to the list, just thought I throw my 2cents in.

the TOC bit really just hit me as I was reading the beginning of Phil's post.

I'm not entirely certain about posting any commentary in individual posts, shouldn't posts be focused on the subject matter, rather than RC stuff? That's my initial thoughts when I chose to post comments here on the RC thread instead of on individual threads.

Had a brief look at the powering your pedals thread Gumbi... looks like its coming along very nice!

^ Hey Kitty,

Part of the reason we decided to do individual threads was to:

a.) Keep the clutter in the RC to a minimum
b.) Let the individual threads stand on their own

If the advice and banter was all contained in here then it could get spammy and out of control, not to mention a bit confusing as to who is talking about what. By letting the content threads stand on their own it allows for some back and forth within that topic and also allows others to comment on it and not just the reviewers. Thanks,

Thanks for contributing Phil

We are hoping that in about 2 years this thread will be rock solid

i guess have the individual threads with the info part of the thread within the first couple of posts, and then have it open to discussion after that? and if any good points are brought up they could be edited into the first couple of posts?

Maybe that's what you're already doing
