Amp's line out -> Audio Interface noise?
Hey UG, I've this problem when recording direct. As soon as I plug the cable of an amp's line out to the input of my audio interface, I start getting a strange noise out of my amp. Keep in mind, that this is only coming out of the speaker, it is not present in my recordings. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you're crossing mains maybe......
Are both your amp and computer/interface plugged into the same outlet? |
