But it's a decent album that I'm happy to listen to.

Worth it if your into the band just to hear the progression, but don't get your hopes up.
I'll be putting a track on my next radio slot from it.

Hmm, I'm eventually gonna listen to it anyway, but didn't expected the blackened thrash progression. Still one of my favs from Ukraine.

By strange coincidence I was listening to that in work today. Got about two thirds of the way through but I had too many things to do that required me to be able to hear what people were saying. Some of it I enjoy a lot (such as Tears of Starfire), but other parts not so much. At its best it has more of a focus on melody than most of that sort of black metal, but that seems to be much less than half of the (very long) album, and even then it's not really good for much other than background listening.

That was my opinion as well. I heard some praise for it in a blog and decided to give it a spin last night. Made it through about 2/3s as well. It's alright, but not outstanding or memorable. Oldskool rock 'n' roll, punk, thrash, and death metal two-minute songs can carry more musical power than two hours of background black metal.

Sweet (cheesy) cover though.

you really don't have the time to listen to just two hours of music? i'm sure you listen to more than two hours worth of music every day

^proggy's point is valid though, not familiar with this particular record but any large work like that has to be really good to be fulfilling

The new Ghast album is out and is rather good. Doomy black metal done right.

Very satisfying.

Not sure it belongs here, but has anyone given the Autumn's Dawn album a listen?

I really like it, but it seems a bit of a departure from the EP.

It's basically a less orchestral version of Grey Waters with a bit more of a black metal vibe at times. For me that's fine as I really loved that Grey Waters EP, but I imagine a lot of people will be miffed as I think a lot of people expected something closer to Austere.
