Jiminez faces five batters. one out, three walks, one of them bringing in a run.

I feel bad for constantly ragging on him because apparently he's a great guy, but he can't even do the job of eating innings to keep us from using one of our better relievers right.

And now all but one of those runs Ubaldo put on has come around to score. 12-5 is suddenly 12-8 and we're one run away from the tying run coming the plate with one out.

How did this happen after 11-2

Giants on a 6 game winning streak, just swept the Brewers, scoring 31 runs over the last three games. Our starter's ERA was 1.06 over the homestand. LA is playing the Nats while the Giants have 4 games against the Rockies. This is gonna be a tight race right down to the end.

^ I feel like Jiminez is to the Orioles what Lincecum is to the Giants. Overpaid starter riding on a couple of good past seasons. Transitioned to the bullpen to eat innings and failing in that role as well. Timmy came in when the Giants had a 12 run lead tonight, and allowed 3 runs in 2 innings.

The difference is Lincecum was one of the best pitchers in the game from 2008 to 2011. Ubaldo has been inconsistent his entire career, even in his better seasons.

Cole Hamels threw 6 no hit innings today and was then pulled (5 walks, 108 pitches), bullpen is on now to try and finish the no hitter.

Also, I'm watching the Mets game right now and the Marlins just threw over five times in one at bat with Kirk Nieuwenhuis on first base, then when he finally did go to steal second Saltalamacchia didn't even throw down

EDIT: Jordany Valdespin is on the Marlins? Had no idea he was on a major league team.
