This is essentially Dan's life:

I knew I had stolen that from somewhere, but couldn't remember where. That would be accurate, except I don't know what 'Superfudge' is. Amend that to 'I'm overhauling my rear hub,' 'I'm testing alcohol stoves,' or 'I'm looking at some cool moss' and you'd be correct.

Yeh, but I'm in the UK. Pizza places that are better than dominos are rare, and the ones that are don't deliver (and I could probably buy a guitar for the amount if have to spend on a meal there)

I just lit a fire in The Pit.
Lets see how long before the flame wars start.
(But seriously, I actually am interested in some honest opinions).

Timmy arrived. Seems pretty good so far, though (as I suspected) it seems to be a better boost than OD. And the neck pickup does that wooly/woofy thing that some pedals do (though admittedly I'm playing at low volumes which seems to accentuate that). Bass knob seems a bit tight too, I hope it's ok (though it seems to work ok). Seems to have a lot more cut on both treble and bass knobs than I need, too.

Haven't tried it next to the danelectro clone yet.

Exactly. One of my favorite lines to shout at people (mostly my wife) is 'don't make me do stuff.'

(b) Really I suppose it's a criticism of me more than them though; I would rather be alone and doing something many might consider 'suffering' (backpacking, endurance mountain biking, working on my bike, etc.) than out to dinner with family and friends.

(a) Yeah

(b) I disagree, we're all entitled to like what we like. Those people who expect you to be the life and soul of the party would likely tell you where to go if you tried to talk them into a low key party for 2 or 3 close friends (or no party) when it came round to their birthday.

That's the thing I find- the people who try to take over your day are the people who won't let you take overe theirs. (Normally, at least. If you look hard enough you can normally find an exception to most things.)

(c) I wasn't sure if he was talking about the Pizza or the game. Now I think of it I'm not sure I've ever had a Dominos. I'm not super into pizza and I don't think there's one that close to me anyway.
