So after 10 months or so, came home to this bad larry waiting for me
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...&type=1&theater Now lets be honest, effect pedals are pretty much an obsession. Most of them give us a placebo effect, do they REALLY sound all that different from each other. With that said, honestly this thing is incredible. I've never played an OD pedal quite like it, I have a TS9 and an 808 modded by Mike, I really like his work. But this thing is insane. The amount of customization that you can do to these things is unreal, I've never come across a pedal that can do it. I got the higher gain option on the right channel, and I have it set as dist mode on the right and OD mode on the left. For those who might not know you can basically build your own King of Tone pedal. When you order one you have the option to have it as a normal OD for both sides, or you can get a high gain option for either or both sides. Then there is an external treble boost knob that is set all the way down, but if you have a darker sounding amp you can boost some treble for it. Then there are a set of switches for each channel that sets the mode. You can have a Clean setting, an OD setting, or a distortion setting, for both channels. I love this pedal, today I will do some A/B-ing with a Keeley TS9, a stock Blues Driver, and my other Aman tubescreamers, just to see how it sounds. But I can already tell that it's very different. In terms of recommendation, it's not a cheap pedal, and once you have it set up the way you want, all the control that you have become useless because you found what you like. But still, it's a wicked awesome pedal, and if you want to sell your tubescreamers and other OD pedals and just have one box, this is the one to get. Cool!

you haven't tried a bluesbreaker, then? ![]() seriously, though, I mean it has a fair bit more going on in it than a bluesbreaker, i think, i think it starts off as a BB and then it has two channels etc. But far as i'm aware, it is a modded BB. Nice score ![]()

Sweet! Analogman is very picky about nailing specific tones. You have yourself an animal of a pedal right there.
