Music Schooling

Hey

As of right now I am highly interested in going to school for music. I have been for a very long time and have the support as long as I have a small business background. The only problem is we simply can't afford it. So for right now I've got to go to a state school to get some core classes out of the way and take constant lessons for a couple years before I can actually transfer. Is it considered too late to start majoring in music as a junior year of college after two years?

But hey, at least you have a 10% chance of absolutely guaranteeing failure.

you might have to spend some extra years in school. I know personally my college required music majors to have 8 semesters of both band and choir, 4 semesters of theory, 4 semesters of aural skills, 2 semesters of music history, various methods courses, and 8 semesters of lessons in your primary instrument.
