That disappointing moment when you take an ESP/LTD nut off and notice that the shelf wasn't cut parallel with the neck face. The nut was also filed on the front to meet the headstock face. Oh, frets 3 and 16 are high too.

Gotta love cheap Asian outsourcing...

My old Affinity took a blow to the fretboard recently and now the nut is broken and there's a chip out of the top edge of the board.

It was stored in my closet for a bit and a shelf collapsed and some junk fell onto it. Luckily only that guitar suffered any damage, but it also put a hole in an old 12" hi-fi subwoofer I have.
