Nope. First run of RGA8s had a problem, but it was with the screw holding the bridge down on the baseplate being stripped when people were silly and tried to raise the bridge without undoing the screw.

A WHITE 8-string for a guy on a budget? *drool*

On a side note, aren't people used to replacing Ibanez's lousy pickups already?
I guess I can't comment on the bridge, but as stated before, heck, for that price you can afford a new bridge too...

Thinking about grabbing one in black and putting sd distortion 8's in it. I love ibanez 8string head stocks for some reason.

I put D-Activator 7's in my S7320 and they sound killer. I suppose the 8-string ones will do just as great in that.
