done. Didn't really put a lot of effort into this one. It's currently 5 AM and I'm at an airport, waiting for my connecting flight, tired as hell.

Can someone stick my name in at bar 206? I'm lazy :3

I'll take next.

EDIT: Nevermind, I completely lost motivation, and got sucked into watching Sweeney Todd.

That was one ridiculous collab lol.

We should get working on a serious one, like the one we were planning a few months ago, but noone wanted to

EDIT: It might work if we did an album in which everyone submitted a song or something. Just like the UG Post-rock/Electronic/Experimentalshoefolk albums but a multi-genre epic thingy, that'd be great lol, with all the T&C regulars, that'd be great.
I dunno

If you guys agree with it I could always bump the old planning thread.

I think it's still all a little vague. Do we want an album with songs written 100% individually, or an album full of collab songs? Second one would be a bit cooler, I think. Actually, that's basically what we tried that one time... You know... That time.

That thing (which was way, way bigger before, but I can't be bothered looking for the original thread).

This is what I have in mind, yes. At first it was supposed to be one huge collab song, but this seems alot more feasible. The main difference is that it would span more genres to accomodate different writing styles: I can't write prog so I would be automatically out lol.

That'd be cool. We'd have to take certain measures to ensure quality though. For instance, try to stay in the same genre for the whole song, and don't abruptly switch keys *cough* wquennasar *cough* (unless the change makes sense, of course. If they can justify the change, it's cool). The songs would take at least a tiny bit of planning, like when we decide where to reuse themes. I'd be down for working on something like that though, for sure. Wanna make a new thread?

ive always thought it would be cool to do a collab where for a song, one person writes one individual instrument. for instance one person would write a guitar part and someone else would be the 'bassist' and then someone else the 'drummer'. like...guitar pro, jam style. Lol. itd be cool to do an EP or album that way
