That's way too much. It's got a 3 piece neck FFS

3 hole TRC too makes me think it's MIC.

Basically don't buy MIJ from ebay unless its a reputed seller like sparkles etc...

Thanks for the info! Just read all of this and it backs all of that up, too. Really interesting!

Yup no problemo. I'm a stickler for details so I like to be on those things.

Heck sometimes the only difference between model years is how many holes are in the pickguard and the serial number!

Also I hear what you're saying about quoting guitar players on gear, I mostly posted that video because it's a good looking '67 and I think he plays it well

After having read all that info, I think I still prefer late 60's SGs to early 70's (sorry Angus!) due to the deeper cutaways. One day I will have one!

When I said mid to late 1970 I didn't mean the 70s, I meant the actual year. 70 to maybe 72 the shape was basically the same as the late 60s ones aside from the volute and the Made in USA stamps.

From 72-82 they changed the SG a lot.

I have an SG of Epiphone make and am in the reconstruction process for its' sound. I have to replace the output back to the original jack which I have misplaced, it now works with a switch craft. May I request an image of any original output on this model of Guitar? I am looking for part fixed onto the output that I have been unable to identify by other means such as; Epiphone consumer, Guitar center, Local music shops, and a specialist.
