The more I listen to the last ALLB album that more I realise it's incredible.

I can't even choose a favorite album of theirs. They're all so different, and yet each so spectacular in their own way.

Damien you're back!

In other news, what bands sound like Shai Hulud? I'm trying to establish connections between bands.

That alcohol has consumed me tonight. No messages from me. Unless you want to text. I can do that right now.

Not many bands sound like Shai Hulud, it's almost the point.

Would Poison The Well belong on there? Or 7 Angels 7 Plagues? Don't forget Skycamefalling. And if you really wanna get obscure, Compromise and fordirelifesake.

They should not be on that specific list. While they are all metalcore, PTW, 7A7P, and SCF were more of a first wave (using chem's terms) than a zero wave. SCF was formed around the time of many of those bands, but they never got widespread coverage.

Not that they don't belong there, it's more than I'm not making a whole list of every early metalcore band ever because I have better things to do.

Well, no, but I figured Metalcore is the closest sound to Shai Hulud...since they are Metalcore.

You guys should check out Compromise. It was the band Jesse Zaraska (vocalist) was in before Misery Signals. Anyone know what label they were on? I can't find what label they were on.

Does it matter what label they were on?

It was probably some tiny DIY thing.

To me it does. I think it's fun going around, learning about new labels, seeing their rosters, discovering new bands and buying their vinyls. That's what me and my dad do. Really fun
