Good last episode to be honest. Better than I expected. Although the show should have ended with Carell leaving, there have still been some great episodes since then. Can't believe it's over.

The Office was like my first love. It was great for a while because it allowed me to experience something I had never really experienced before. But then near the end all of the good started to fade away, and other shows came along that were better. Yet The Office still remained as my first experience in caring about a TV show in spite of all of its flaws, and that's why it's meaningful and significant. You never forget your first love.

or

The Office is like school. It might not of sucked all of the time and there were a lot of great times but near the end of high school you're just sick of it and ready for it to be over so you can move on. You get sad when graduation comes around and you relive all of the good memories you had as well as the bad and realize that it's time to move on. You accept it for what it is: an often great, often flawed, necessary experience.

I can do this all night (especially because I have one final essay to write this semester by tomorrow).

It was an alright episode. They were trying just way too hard to give everyone a happy ending (Erin meets her birth parents, Nellie just finds a random baby to raise, etc.).

It seemed like they had to f*cking beg Steve Carrell to be on this episode. He had what, 30 seconds of screen time?

I still liked it though, and the pussy inside of me felt really bittersweet to see it end, and happy for Jim and Pam.

I'm really glad they didn't give Michael a big role actually. His story was wrapped up in his own finale episode and anything more would've felt like it was meant for him. Even though he was pretty much the best character. The episode was meant to wrap everybody else's stories up. Erin's stuff did seem forced and it was out of nowhere really cuz I completely forgot about that part of her story, but oh well. Still made me happy.

Not a bad ending. Nothing too emotional happened though, imo.

Loved Michael's first line. Loved Creed's song.

I don't know why they got Joan Cusack to be her mother and only give her like 30 seconds of talking and camera time

Just watched the finale. I watched this show religiously up until Pam and Jim got married which is when I completely stopped caring about it. I don't know, it just seemed to me that their whole relationship was what drove the show, outside of the humor. However I did feel like I owed it to myself to watch the finale, even though I had no idea what was going on with the characters.

I grew up with this show. I related my own relationship life to Jim and Pam's, it really influenced part of my life (notably the casino night episode). But damn, thinking about it, it will go down as one of THE best shows in my generation, and I'm so thankful to be able to say that I watched it when it was good. I imagine this would be the feeling I would have had if I was old enough in the 90's to realize how good Seinfeld was, and how sad it was when it ended. Obviously I wish that the last several seasons of the office were better, and that I actually kept up with it, but I'm still sad that it's over. Lots of nostalgia going on right now, which is what makes a show good.

Most cringe worthy episode, the one where he confronts his girlfriends husband in season 6.
