Beginners solo's

Hello everyone This is my first post here. Sorry if it's a common question, but I've just started learning lead and I'm looking for suggestions for songs with solo's that are suitable to get started on learning to play solo's.

So far I've learnt Universally Speaking by RHCP, and I'm most of the way through the first solo for I Could Have Lied by them.

Even if it's just posting which entire song and solo/s you guys learnt first that would be a great help

Hey.

How long have you been playing? Who do you like? What guitar and amp do you have?

These may seem like vague questions, but it will help us give you some suggestions.

Go have a look in there. There's a whole list of songs for beginners, solos included.

It's a sticky in the Tab Talk section.

Not many people venture from EG to there, so it's understandable. I used it when I first found this website, and rarely look tere at all now

I haven't been playing that long, a couple of months but I've practiced a lot and picked it up quite well. I started with an Epiphone EL-00 acoustic and I've just bought an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with a Vox VT40+ amp.

Really like playing RHCP, White Stripes, Oasis.
