Can anyone tell me what can cause fret buzzing and what I can do to stop it and prevent it?

It can be a number of things:
neck is twisted Truss rod is not set correctly frets are un-level 1 or more frets have come unseated action is too low and these are just some of the more "popular" reasons.

Thanks, from what I can tell it isn't a problem with frets,I hope that all it needs is a little relief and wont need to see a tech...but its a Tele so do i have to unscrew the neck and continually put the strings back on just to see if it works or is there a way I can tell?

how can you tell? Did you put a straight edge on the frets to see if any are high or low? Just looking won't let you know. easiest way on a Tele heal adjustment I have found is take the scratch plate off completely, that way you can leave the neck on and just loosen the strings so you can do the adjustments

thanks,i noticed it only has a buzz when plugged in,i tried two different amps and they both buzz,i gotta get new cords but it still has a slight 1/2 a second buzz unplugged, not sure if the amplifyer is amplifying the buzz from the guitar or is causing the problem,i dont have a straight edge that i can check the frets with, ill try buying a cord first i guess
