What Jackson Model is this?
Could anyone tell me what model Jackson this is? I looked around on the web, but couldn't find anything like it. I emailed the store but I never get an email reply.

No idea, but I would jump on that. So cheap and looks sexy.

Looks like it is from the JS30/JS32 series but with a "fancy" paint job.
Meh. ![]()

Nope. It's a Soloist. There is no Soloist in the JS line.

You're right. Completely different headstock.
It appears to have those cheap Jackson CVR pickups though. ![]()

Pickups are always replaceable.

I know they are. Just really wondering why this is so cheap.
Also a good time for me to hate on GC. One pic. TINY pic. No description or model # of the instrument.

Maybe this? Either way, if you want it, go for it. The pickups in the GC guitar might be cheap EMGs. Take a gamble? ![]()

Hm.... I doubt it's a DXMG, they came with Floyds and had a reverse headstock...

Yea...such a mystery. Doesn't look like a bad deal for someone on a budget.

Well I wasn't looking to buy, just wondering what model Jackson it was because I was surprised at the price. $200 for a Jackson Soloist style guitar seems tempting though

That is obviously a DXMGT. I wouldn't be surprised if GC bought it without pickups and put those in there because they had them lying around.

So much this. C'mon Guitar Center, you can't spring for a big picture with good lighting and a description of the guitar itself? It would take 5 minutes to write one. And they do this with their entire used guitar stock. Sometimes there isn't even a pic. |

It really frustrates me. Especially since they have such a large stock of goodies to buy. I'd like to know of any dents, dings, and scratches in the item. At least be up front about that. I'd also like to know the exact speakers a cabinet is loaded with. They really need to get into this.

Yeah it's pretty lousy. I've even called a particular store once for info on a used guitar, and they would not tell me much about it's condition. I asked if it had damages, and they(with a pretty condescending tone) said "it was a floor model, so of course it has some dents and scratches". I knew then that it was not worth ordering a used guitar from them. I don't think they really care about their used gear anyway. I've seen used guitars on the wall with only 2 strings before. Well my friend and I went to go play guitars there (he is looking for a Hellraiser) and for some reason they had strung most of their guitars with super light strings that sounded awful. They must have been (at most) 9s. They have good prices, but I think it's fair to say they don't really care about people buying used from them. GC seems to be the Gamestop of the guitar world. >_>

Making me wonder if I'd be better off dealing with eBay scum.

The worst thing about the pictures is that they sometimes have the WRONG picture of the wrong guitar they are selling. Doesn't help that they never reply emails either.
