A Splawn or a Mesa would do you well.

If you want to save a bit of money, you'd be happy with the Mesa DC-5 or DC-10.

For your budget, you could get a nice head, good cab, a pedalboard with some good units and power supply and have some left over if you look for good deals.
I can recommend a JSX (XXX II) for the types of tones you're after (assuming you meant classic rock when you said classical) and there are many cabs that pair well with that amp. It also would be handy to have a 4x12 and a 2x12 depending on the situation you're playing in.
As for your distortion pedals, ditch them all. The units you're probably after are more like noise gate, eq, and overdrive that will contribute to and tweak the feel and tone you've got from the amp channels. Throw some wah, delay, and modulation effects (chorus, phaser, flanger, etc.) in at your leisure.

I would go for the versatility of this sort of setup over just a more expensive amp any day, and there is always the future to upgrade any part of this rig.

Good luck.
