String materials/Business Venture

So I recently got into vaping as a hobby and I'm looking into doing some crafting work and trying to make money off of it. Anyways, the heating coil which people commonly hand make is often made out of similar materials to certain electric guitar strings. So I'm thinking of starting a business out of recycling these materials from guitars to make into heated coil parts for vaping.

Heat coils call for materials that are alloys of Nickel and other materials that have high resistance (which guitars require to reduce chances of musicians electrocuting themselves) and high tolerance to heat (not as much as a prerequisite for guitars...)

Anybody know anything more than I about string materials?

To the pit because i don't feel like doing real life.

You can use cat gut to make strings for classical instruments. You could also use human gut.
