I have now also exhausted my options. The people around my town are in that mindset where they want to walk around and tell everyone who would listen that they are musicians but when you ask them if they want to jam they say they have no time. Then you're not a musician , you're a [insert instrument here] player.

I'd advise you to post an ad to find extra members. Post it on a local website, like in South Africa we have www.gumtree.co.za

Wherever you're from, you probably have your own domain for posting ads.

I'd suggest KiwiConnect.com. A friend is developing it to launch this summer. But it's all about connecting people over what they love to do. It has much better security than Craigslist and other similar websites.

Old thread, but for future reference and search help

-meetup.com (look for jam bands, musicians looking to get together to write, play, etc)
-Open Mics
