tried to start a new career with FC Paris in the 3rd division of France.

Won basically all friendlies in the pre-season with a tactics that's taken my IFK Göteborg to semi-final of CL.

then the season begun and the two first games end 0-0 before I lost 1-3 at home to a random shit team and 5-0 away to some other shit team. That's where I quit that save. I guess that tactic doesn't work in a 3rd division with crap players all over the board.

Anyone got a decent tactic for fm 12 for LLM?

Edit

tried again with paris FC

after 8 games I got 1 win (1-0), 1 loss (0-2) and 6 draws (all 0-0 except 1-1)

i can't score and i cant concede any goals now

2 goals scored, 3 goals conceded in 8 games... what the ****?!

For LLM use a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 with pacy wingers and tall strikers and just play hoofball. It's the only way.

pacy as in 8/20 on pace and acceleration right?

managed to win a game now via penalty.

Edit

goals galore now

2 goals in the same game.

1-1. this shit is frustrating.

Also keep your tactics incredibly simple.

hm... but I like my defensive record with this tactic. I'll just try to get some goals going forward.

conceding almost 0 goals but can't score from the open play. 2-0 win now via 2 corners.

omg, beat Ajaccio 3-2 away when I tried a 4-4-2 tactic. Despite getting a red card after like 15 mins.

Edit

another goals galore game, 3-0 away against Red Star (not that Red Star.)

6th in the league now, 5pts up to the top.

4-4-2 with pace out wide got me two promotions in a row. My two formations with player roles were:

4-4-2
show

4-2-3-1
show

Just keep it simple and keep your instructions down to a minimum. I had a proper high pressing game too so keep that in mind.

Moved down my two wingers from a previously used tactic and all of a sudden I've scored 8 goals in 3 games, double the goals I scored in my first 8 lol

2-1 win against Ajaccio away again in the league cup.

Not bad now really.

lol 11 draws in 18 games,. ffs

Edit

now I won 0-6 in the cup, then 1-1 in the league and 6-1 in the league

decent form now.

Got a stadium capacity of 25 000. Cup game against random team from the same divisinion. 321 people in the stands. What's that - 1,5 % attendance?

**** this piece of shit game. 9 conceded in 19 games, then I concede 4 in one game at home to the 17th place. only on FM.

no decent jobs available so I'm saying **** it and making all sort of desperation signings to win the CL again [true genghis scholars will remember I won it my first two years in Paris]. got a GOAT belgian regen wingback, a 34 year old Luis Suarez, and poached Coutinho from a relegated Liverpool.

Near January now and am playing much better than I expected. I should have a decent chunk of cash to spend in summer to revamp my squad with some decent youth prospects and whatnot. Currently 5th and looking strong, although the automatic spots looks out the question. If I finish midtable I'd be happy but given that I've come this far I'd quite like to remain in the play-off spots providing injuries don't ruin me. Which btw is a good point; what the **** is with players being injured in the championship? I've had more injuries this season than all my other seasons combined. It's especially heartbreaking when they are starters too.

USA job is going well too. Unbeaten (5W-1D-0L) and started the last qualification group well. Qualification for what I'm not sure, but I'm joint top with mexico and got my hard games out the way so . Wouldn't mind doing well with the yanks and then getting a job with England if it's on offer.
